1. The Short & Simple Truth
ClassPanel.online does not collect, sell, store, or transmit any student personal information. Period.
2. COPPA & FERPA Compliance
We are fully dedicated to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA):
- No Student Accounts: Students and teachers never need to register, log in, or provide email addresses.
- Local Browser Storage Only: Any student names you paste into the Random Name Picker or Group Generator exist solely in your browser's local sandbox (`localStorage`). It never leaves your computer.
- No Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking beacons.
3. Data Deletion
Teachers can erase all locally stored rosters, saved presets, and custom timer configurations at any time simply by clicking "Delete Roster" within the tools or by clearing their browser's cache and local storage.
